Update: AWAY FAN ID

By joint order of the President's Office and Athletic Director's Office of the University of Western Topeka, security considerations dictate that away fans expecting to attend any UWT home athletic event MUST BRING their passport and original mother's birth certificate (sorry, no copies accepted) to be admitted. There are no exceptions to this policy. UWT fans are exempt from this policy but reminded to bring their tickets and enjoy the game. Thank you for your cooperation.

Intramural Sports

Recreational leagues are organized by the UWT Department of Human Resources and Intramural Sports. Team signups are held at the start of every semester. Spots on the waitlist may become available over the course of the season as poorly performing teams tend to get dejected and stop showing up for matches. Congratulations to the winners of the inaugural UWT Champions League,  MANSCHESTHAIR UNITED!

Team names are subject to approval by administration as well as veto by the Center for the Study of Embedded and Underhanded Racism.

Competitive Sports

Sports offered at UWT include traditional choices as well as:
  • Rock, Paper, Scissors
  • Arm wrestling
  • Hot dog eating (fall) / Pie eating (spring)
  • Car throwing
  • Speed stapling
  • Cheerleading
  • Birdwatching
  • Cupstacking
  • Competitive diaper changing (offered in partnership with the College of Everything That Has To Do With Kids)
UWT was also national champion on three separate occasions in Breath Holding until the loss of sanctioning for the sport after an unfortunate incident in 2008's sudden death title win (R.I.P. Dale Lynch).

CONFERENCE TRANSITION UPDATE
The UWT Athletic Department is confirming rumors that we are looking to leave the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference after several weeks of cherished membership. Discussions about joining the Big 12 conference will commence shortly, as soon as conference executives return our phone calls, letters, faxes, tweets, and emails.
